Kat Giordano, originally from Boston, Massachusetts, now resides in London after completing her Masters of Fine Arts degree at Goldsmith University. Her work has been displayed internationally, including exhibitions like "Now Introducing 2022" at Studio West in London, UK, and "Unannounced: The Other Voices of Silence" at Lampo in Milan, Italy. Giordano's work has also been featured in the Scalpel building in London, UK. She currently serves as a professor of painting at Endicott College

"My work dives into the suburban, mundane lifestyle, and I'm trying to peel back the layers of complexity behind this idealized way of living. A lot of what I create reflects on patriarchy and how traditional gender roles and obligatory family values can create tension, not just within households but in entire communities."

"I'm taking a cynical look at the American dream and the broader societal pressure to achieve this perfect image, like the perfect family, and the perfect life. It's about the facades people put up and that artificial layer of idealism that hides the messy reality of being human."
